Discussion on RTC strike
“A discussion was held in the cabinet to resolve the problems of RTC workers. RTC workers should not take hasty actions. Taking lives is a painful matter. This is a public administration – RTC workers’ government. Momentary actions cause disasters. No impulsive actions. Tomorrow, there will be discussions with RTC workers under the leadership of the Deputy CM. Do not try to take lives in a momentary manner. Your families need your support. We discussed the RTC cabinet before the cabinet agenda started,” said Sridhar Babu. Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said. “The government has a responsibility to resolve the problems of RTC. Workers should not take ill-considered decisions. There has been some delay in holding a discussion at the cabinet level. We have formed a sub-committee under the leadership of ministers to resolve the problems of workers. We will hold discussions with JAC leaders tomorrow. The campaign that jobs will be taken away in the case of electric buses is not correct. The government is committed to the welfare of workers,” he said.
